The advance of national pride projects envisaged and started by the government for successful open benefit conveyance and to boost financial development has not been so satisfactory owing to a few reasons.

Of the add up to Rs 66 billion apportioned for the 19 of the add up to 27 national pride projects for the current financial year 2024/25, as it were Rs 17 billion has been spent as of the six months of the current financial year, 2024/25, agreeing to the Ministry of Finance.

This is 25.70 per cent of the add up to budget, the Ministry said.

The number of national pride projects rose from 17 to 27 since its inception in the financial year 2012/2013 based on the require of the country and projects' relevance. 

Out of 27 projects, a few of them have been completed whereas some have accomplished a breakthrough and 19 of them are as of now in the process of implementation.

Last monetary year, over 60 billion was designated for those 19 projects. Their budgetary advance was 89.82 per cent and physical progress was at 57.50 per cent, the Ministry said.
