In six months, provinces spend 16% of their budget

The budget expenditure of the provinces in six months of the current fiscal year 2024/25 is baffling.
As per the half-yearly survey report discharged by the government, the budget use of the provinces is as it were 16.18 per cent of the yearly target so far.
The province governments had brought a budget of a add up to of Rs 278.69 billion within the current fiscal year, they have gone through as it were Rs 45.9 billion till January 13, 2025.
Madhesh Province had brought a budget of Rs 43.89 billion for the current fiscal year. It has gone through as it were Rs 2.46 million till the six months of the current fiscal year. Usually, 5.61 per cent of the whole budget.
So also, Sudurpaschim Province has went through 14.82 per cent of the overall budget till six months of the current fiscal year. The area had brought a budget of Rs 31.62 billion for the current fiscal year, and it had gone through as it were Rs 4.68 billion amid the period.
Moreover, Karnali Province seen 15.14 per cent consumption. It went through Rs 4.75 billion in six months of the current fiscal year. The province had brought a budget of Rs 31.41 billion for the current fiscal year.
Lumbini Province brought a yearly budget of Rs 38.97 billion for the current fiscal year. It went through Rs 7.53 billion till six months of the fiscal year 2024/25, which is 19.36 per cent.
So also, Gandaki Province has went through 19.36 per cent of it add up to budget amid the period. Out of Rs 32.97 billion budget, as it were Rs 6.38 billion has been went through in six months.
Bagmati Province had an enormous size of budget for the current fiscal year as compared to other provinces. It had presented a budget of Rs 64.54 billion. The province went through Rs 10.29 billion (16.27 per cent) amid the period.
Moreover, Koshi Province had disclosed a budget of RS 35.27 billion for FY 2024/25. It went through 24.85 per cent of the whole budget amid the period which stood at 24.85 per cent.
