The stock market has experienced a turnover of over 17 billion, reaching 2700 points.
The stock market is almost to 2700 points right now. The NEPSE index, which gauges the performance of the stock market, increased by 35.55 points on Tuesday and is now almost at 2700 points. The NEPSE index reached 2696.65 points, 1.33 percent higher than the day before.
With the exception of commercial banks, mutual funds, non-life insurance, and businesses, the index as a whole climbed on this particular day. The index for the hotel and tourist group has climbed by the greatest amount—5.99 percent—while the index for the financial group has increased by 5.98 percent. In a similar vein, the development bank group's index grew by 2.4 percent, whereas the hydropower, other, and investment groups' indexes increased by more than 3 percent.
Less than 1% was also added to the manufacturing, microfinance, and life insurance group indexes. Both the volume of trades and the quantity of shares exchanged fell on Tuesday compared to the day before in the market that saw growth. 477,900,000 shares were purchased and sold for 19,600,910,000 rupees the day before. 43,710,000 shares were purchased and sold on Tuesday for 17,260,630,000 rupees.
The majority of which have been purchased and sold for a total of Rs. 600 million in shares owned by Himalayan Reinsurance Limited. A total of six firms saw a 10% increase in share price on this day, which caused the shares to enter a positive circuit and rise in the circuit label.
