The manufacturing and processing sector adds 5.87% while NEPSE climbs by 6 points.
At the conclusion of today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw a slight gain of 6.70 points, or 0.24%. It closed at 2,766.38 points.
Class 'A' stock performance is tracked by the sensitive index, which went up 0.04%, while shares that are actively traded were measured by the float index, which went up 0.18%.
Five sectors had gains today, while seven sectors saw losses. With a noteworthy gain of 5.87%, the manufacturing and processing sector emerged as the best performer.
In terms of specific stock moves, three businesses stayed the same, 160 companies fell, and 79 companies climbed. Six firms saw a 10% increase in their share values: KRBL, SHIVM, GCIL, MSHL, SONA, and SARBTM.
With 209,965 transactions totaling 50,946,832 units of shares of 322 businesses exchanged, the daily turnover amounted to Rs 20 billion. The intraday turnover surpassed Rs 17 billion on Wednesday.
As of today, the market capitalization was valued at Rs 4.391 trillion.
