NEPSE rises by 114 points, with Rs 7.6 billion in daily trade.

Tuesday saw a notable increase in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index of 114.70 points, or 4.57%, ending the trading day at 2,623.56 points.

A significant increase from Monday's Rs 3.71 billion to today's Rs 7.616 billion total daily turnover was achieved with 96,906 transactions involving 17,507,555 units of shares from 307 businesses.

Notably, today's share values of eighteen corporations increased by 10%.

The Sensitive Index increased by 4.31% and the Float Index gained 4.60% in addition to the benchmark index's improvement.

With the finance sector topping the gains at 9.74%, all sectors ended the day in the green. The Investment sector experienced a gain of 6.10%, followed by Hydropower at 5.98%, Hotels and Tourism at 5.97%, Development Bank at 5.48%, Life Insurance at 4.12%, and "Others" at 4.67%. These were some of the other notable performers.

Regarding specific stock movements, one scrips decreased, one advanced, and one stayed the same.

The entire market capitalization was Rs 4.171 trillion at the close of trading.
