The Cost of Gasoline (petrol) is Increased by RS 4 Per Liter
A slight increase in the prices of petroleum products, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs 4 per liter, while diesel and kerosene oil have seen an increase of Rs 3 per liter, effective from 1:00 am on July 16. This decision was made during a meeting of the NOC Board of Directors yesterday. Following its ascent the new prices in various regions are listed below:
Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj:
Petrol: Rs 168.50 per liter
Diesel and Kerosene: Rs 157.50 per liter
Surkhet and Dang:
Petrol: Rs 170 per liter
Diesel and Kerosene: Rs 159 per liter
Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, and Dipayal:
Petrol: Rs 171 per liter
Diesel and Kerosene: Rs 160 per liter
According to NOC, the adjustment in the domestic market prices reflects the rise in the purchase prices from the Indian Oil Corporation, with petrol prices increasing by Rs 4.48 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.83 per liter.
