The number of taxpayers in the Kathmandu metropolitan increased to 7,800 last year.

 In the financial year 2080/81, 7 thousand 800 taxpayers have been added to Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

According to the metropolis, 3 thousand 317 taxpayers have been added to the tax return in the financial year 2080/81. Likewise, 3 thousand 167 taxpayers have been added to the business tax and 1 thousand 339 taxpayers have been added to the property tax.

The metropolis also conducted a door-to-door program in each ward to increase the scope of taxes. It is estimated that the revenue will increase with the increase in the number of tax payers of the municipality.
