The Home Minister Author has directed all systems to be on full alert.

Heavy rains are forecast in several areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, thus Home Minister Ramesh Alkahar has issued an alert to all provincial and municipal security mechanisms, chief district officials, disaster management authorities, and security agency heads.

The Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, has forecast heavy rainfall in certain areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, hence Home Minister Akbar has urged the public to take steps to prevent any risks.

"As rain has been predicted, I have instructed the Chief District Officers of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces, the heads of security agencies in the provinces and districts to remain alert," he stated.

According to the interior minister, the disaster authority and the director of the security agency in the Ministry of Home Affairs have been told to be prepared for any additional coordination or related activities. Since there was still a possibility of landslides and numerous roadways in the nation were obstructed by past floods and landslides, the minister urged everyone to exercise caution when traveling.
