Korea will provide 1 billion to the Bardia municipal government.
The implementation of the inclusive rural development project will get funding from the Korean government in the amount of 8 million dollars, or roughly 1.7 billion rupees.
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Korea International Cooperation Agency have signed a Record of Discussion (ROD) agreement to discuss the project's advancement in the Bardia district.
Joint Secretary of the Ministry Kali Prasad Parajuli and Country Director Mahyan Kong signed the agreement on behalf of the Korean government.
Koika claims that this project will cost eight million dollars. The project's eight local levels in the Bardia district will constitute its scope.
As per Koika, the primary goals of this project are to enhance the agricultural production capacity in Bardia area, develop market connections, and modernize the value chain by including value addition.
By creating a project that is started by the local community and tailored to its needs, Koika claims that the goal is to empower the community to carry out the project.
