Four hydropower projects that are connected to the national grid will produce 270 MW of electricity.
Within a month, the national transmission line will be connected to 102 megawatts of central Bhotekoshi in Sindhupalchok, 111 megawatts of Rasuwagarhi in Rasuwa, 14.8 megawatts of upper Sanjen, and 42.5 megawatts of Sanjen.
The Chilime Hub 220-132-33 KV (320 MVA) capacity substation was built at Thambuchet, which is located in Amachhodingmo Rural Municipality-4 of Rasuwa, while the Chilime 3B Hub 220-132-33 KV (320 MVA) capacity substation was built at Parabensi in Nuwakot. The distance between Chilime and Trishuli is 28 km. Since the 220 KV transmission line is not finished on schedule, the electricity that is produced is wasted.
Electricity produced by different projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot will be transported from Trishuli 3B Hub 220-132-33 KV (320 MVA) capacity substation to Matatirtha substation in Kathmandu.
There are eight km of four circuit line (24 towers) and twenty km of double circuit line (51 towers) on the 28 km transmission line that runs from Chilime to Trishuli hub. The power generated by the Upper Trishuli One (216 MW) under construction in an eight kilometer tower with four circuit lines will be transmitted to the Jodi National Transmission Grid up to the Trishuli 3B hub.
While the foundations of all 75 towers needed for the transmission lines have been built, wire laying is presently taking place in the vicinity of Mailungbensi (1235 meters), Haku (1400 meters), and Trishuli Three Way Haw (600 meters).
