An investment of 80 million has been obtained.

The current fiscal year has started, with 800 million rupees in foreign direct investment received in July. The Nepal Rastra Bank's figures show that foreign direct investment came to a total of 799.8 million rupees in July. Two billion and sixty-five million rupees in foreign investment were received in July of the previous year. The amount of foreign investment entering the nation in July of this year has significantly decreased as compared to the same month last year.

Corresponding to this, July's net capital movement was 220.32 million, based on National Bank statistics. The net capital transfer over the same time frame in the previous year was 272.6 million.

The Department of Industry reports that through 59 projects, investors from various nations committed investments totaling 8.55 billion rupees in July. Eight billion and fifty-five million rupees were pledged for investment in July, of which eight billion and fifty million had been received. Similar to this, foreign investment commitments of 8 billion 9787 million 90 thousand rupees were obtained in August through 191 projects. According to the department's statistics, information technology projects, travel, and services have attracted the greatest foreign investment commitments. As per the Nepal Rastra Bank, out of the 61.9 billion rupees that were committed for foreign investment in the year 2080/81, 8.4 billion rupees have been received. Six billion and seventeen million rupees were received in 2079–2080, out of the 38 billion foreign direct investment pledges.
