Rashtra Bank's "Sukila note" was traded for almost 2000 within six days.
Almost two thousand people have signed the "Sukila Note" in just six days. Nepal Rastra Bank reports that from October 13 to Sunday, that quantity of notes was accepted by the general public.
Within five days of the office's opening last week, 1,499 of these individuals signed the "Sukila Note," according to Dilliram Pokharel, co-spokesperson for Rashtra Bank. Since Sunday, October 13th, Sukila notes have been minted by Rastra Bank. Over the course of the five days after the office opened till Friday, that quantity and number of notes had been traded. Of them, 285 on Monday, 270 on Tuesday, 390 on Wednesday, and 319 on Friday signed the notes. 235 of them did so on Sunday.
In a similar vein, Sunday saw 450 individuals trade notes. The National Bank of India reports that on Sunday, notes totaling more than 150 million rupees were exchanged in a single day. Only notes between Rs. 5 and Rs. 100 are included in this amount.
In just one week, "Sukila notes" valued at approximately 62 crores were traded. Notes totaling 61.71 million were taken out of the Central Bank of Nepal in five days last week, according to Nepal Rastra Bank. This info is valid through Friday.
Furthermore, according to the National Bank, plans have been developed for all banks and financial organizations nationwide to issue notes through their "note banks." This time, there were far fewer note exchanges because no fresh notes were received. Approximately 15 billion rupees were allowed last year, and roughly 22 billion rupees were approved the year before that.
