More assistance will be given to Nepal by ADB.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will help Nepal even more. During a discussion with Bishnu Prasad Paudel, the Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Supak Chaiyawan, the Executive Director of ADB, provided updates on the organization's plans for future development partnerships with Nepal.


ADB will support the education sector, stimulate the private sector, and strengthen the capabilities of the three tiers of government through the Development Partnership Strategy, which will run from 2025 to 2029. The World Bank will work with us to carry out this program.

Minister of Finance Paudel expressed confidence in the successful execution of the ADB-supported programs. While acknowledging that Nepal's economy is having difficulties, ADB Executive Director Chaiyawan expressed confidence that Finance Minister Paudel will steer the country toward economic growth. Nepal has received assistance from ADB in the areas of infrastructure development, education, the environment, and other areas.
