The repair of the damaged Tamakosi hydropower project is set to commence soon.
Energy, Water coffers and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has said that the conservation of the Upper Tamakoshi hydropower design damaged by the flood tide will be started as soon as possible and electricity will be produced.
Secretary of Water coffers and Irrigation Ministry Suresh Acharya, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising, Chief District Officer of Dolakha Tuvraj Pokharel, after examining the damaged structure of the design, he stated that the state has suffered unconceivable losses due to the damage to the design and expressed commitment to repair and induce electricity as soon as possible.
According to his private secretariat, Minister Khadka reiterated the government's commitment to give all possible support to induce electricity from the design as soon as possible.
