Food has been supplied to victims of recent floods and landslides by the Association of Nepalese Rice, Oil, and Pulses Industry.
The association reported that, in the presence of Damodar Bhandari, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, it presented 140 bags of rice and 40 bags of lentils to Purushottam Acharya, the CPN-UML district president for Lalitpur.
At the association meeting on Tuesday, it was decided to offer the victims and their families some relief. The association also conveyed their sorrow for the property and human casualties brought on by the natural calamity.
